I have heard what some call the definition of insanity; it goes like this.
"When some one does something the same way each time, but expects different results each time, that is insanity". In my words, if one keeps making the same choices, they will usually experience the same results or maybe worse results.
I'll try to give some examples.
1.) If you continually spend more money than you make, you'll always remain in debt; you'll always be without the funds you have worked hard for. It's so simple; manage your income differently. In other words, you have to spend less than you make to get ahead of your debt. That is called common sense. If you are one that chooses not to work, you will get only what you have chosen to get, you reap what you sow.
2.) Addictions of any kind more than likely need to be dealt with in a different manner than you have dealt with them up to this point in time. You are still addicted, right? I know that many addictions are really tough to deal with; I talk from experience. So what? Many others have dealt properly with those same addictions and are no longer hindered by them; they did things differently.
The point of this writing is to hopefully reach someone and show them that making different and better choices will result in different outcomes; hopefully better outcomes. Remember, you reap what you sow; you are responsible for you.
